Coal handling at Mormugao down 5.14% in Aug m-o-m

September 10: Coal handling at Mormugao Port stood at 461,000 tons during the month of August 2014, down 5.14% from 486,000 tons handled during July 2014, according to a compilation by the Indian Ports’ Association.

In August 2013, total coal handled at the port stood at 515,000 tons.

During the first five months (April-August) of 2014-15, total coal handled at the port stood at 2,911,000 tons against 4,550,477 tons recorded during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
