Coal handling at Mumbai Port up 60.76% in April m-o-m

May 9: Coal handling at Mumbai port stood at 590,000 tons during April 2014, up 60.76% from 367,000 tons handled during the previous month, according to a compilation by the Indian Ports' Association (IPA).

During April 2013, total coal handling at the port stood at 351,571 tons.

During entire 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 4,114,797 tons whereas the figure stood at 4,017,152 tons in 2012-13.
