Coal handling at Mumbai port falls 23.93% in July m-o-m

August 28: Coal handling at Mumbai port stood at 275,105 tons during the month of July 2013, down 23.93% from 361,639 tons handled in June, a senior port official told ICMW.

In July 2012, coal handling at the port stood at 223,000 tons.

During the first four months of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 1,301,315 tons while the figure stood at 1,498,775 tons during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
