Coal handling at New Mangalore port up 65.01% in Nov m-o-m

December 31: Coal handling at New Mangalore port stood at 593,553 tons during November 2013, up 65.01% from 359,696 tons in October, a senior port official told ICMW.

In November 2012, coal handled at the port stood at 941,793 tons.

During the first eight months of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 5,549,011 tons compared to 4,976,659 tons during the corresponding period of the previous year.
