Coal handling falls 54.17% at Porbandar port in July m-o-m

August 30: Coal handling at Porbandar port fell by 54.17% in July 2013 to stand at 25,000 tons as compared to 54,550 tons handled during the month of June, a senior port official told ICMW.

In July 2012, coal handling at the port also stood at 25,000 tons, the official added.

During the first four months of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 174,550 tons against 192,223 tons handled during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
