Coal handling falls 80.63% at Okha Port in June m-o-m

July 22: Coal handling at Okha Port, located on the western coast of India, fell 80.63% to 11,000 tons during the month of June 2014 compared to 56,800 tons handled during the preceding month, a senior port official told ICMW.

In June 2013, coal handling at the port was nil.

During the first three months of 2014-15, total coal handled at the port stood at 177,800 tons while the figure was at 169,333 tons during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
