March 14: After remaining stable during the past two sessions, spot coal prices in international markets firmed up on March 13 aided by rumours of a possible ban by China on imports of low grade coal, industry sources said.
The softness in coking coal prices continued on ample stocks amidst not-so-encouraging demand, they added.
