February 19: Seaborne coal prices remained soft in international markets on February 18, trading sources said.
South African spot coal prices eased marginally even though the demand from the power sector remained unchanged. Lack of Chinese inquiries continued to put pressure on Australian coal prices.
Coking coal prices also remained soft due to lack of demand from the steel mills.
