September 23: Spot prices of South African and Australian steam coal softened a bit on September 22 after maintaining a steady trend during the past few sessions, market sources said.
Indonesian coal prices, particularly for higher grades firmed up a bit, they said.
According to the sources, the overall bids remained largely on expected ground with slightly increased intermittent enquiries from Indian companies, they added.
