CoalMin to de-allocate several coal blocks

Stung by the CBI's intensified hunt, an alarmed coal ministry has moved to de-allocate two blocks while serving ultimatum to holders of seven blocks.

With two former secretaries PC Parakh and HC Gupta facing CBI heat, coal ministry has decided to immediately de-allocate several blocks, including Bandar for which Congress MP Vijay Darda had interceded.

The others include Bhandak coal block in Maharashtra allotted to Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan and Bramhadiha block in Jharkhand of Castron Technology Limited have also been de-allocated immediately, while others mentioned in the FIRs are likely to be de-allocate by October-end.
