Coking coal imports via Chennai up 14% in Dec m-o-m

January 14: Coking coal imports via Chennai port rose by 14% to 171 tons in December against 149 tons reported in November, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In December, all the consignments arrived from the UK in a price range of Rs 30,159 - Rs 30,173 ($482 - $484) per ton.

In November, the consignments arrived from the UK as well but in a price band of Rs 29,392 - Rs 30,159 ($466 - $476) per ton.
