Coking coal imports via Gangavaram up 57.05% in June m-o-m

July 3: Coking coal imports through the port of Gangavaram stood at 607,432 tons in June 2014, up almost 57.05% as compared to 386,772 tons recorded in the previous month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
During June 2013, coking coal import via the port stood at 389,952 tons.

During June 2014, the entire material came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 4,489-Rs 9,229 ($75-$154) per ton.
On the other hand, in May 2014, the entire quantity came from Australia at a price range of Rs 7,254-Rs 9,136 ($119-$150) per ton.
