Coking coal imports via Mormugao fall 25.74% in Feb m-o-m

March 11: Imports of coking coal via Mormugao Port stood at 326,362 tons during the month of February, down 25.74% from 439,481 tons imported in January, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
During February 2013, coking coal imports via the port stood at 491,936 tons.

During February 2014, 167,400 tons arrived from Australia at a price range of Rs 10,293-Rs 10,618 ($164-$169) per ton, 81,426 tons came from Canada at a price of Rs 10,596 ($168) per ton while 77,537 tons came from South Africa at a price of Rs 6,912 ($110) per ton.
In January 2014, 319,595 tons came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 9,904-Rs 11,176 ($159-$179) per ton, 67,787 tons came from Canada at a price of Rs 9,977 ($160) per ton and 52,100 tons came from Mozambique at a price of Rs 10,158 ($163) per ton.
