Coking coal imports via Mundra down 78.99% m-o-m in April

May 16: Coking coal imports through Mundra Port during April 2014 fell almost 78.99% to 43,000 tons from 204,620 tons recorded in March 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In April 2013, coking coal imports via the port stood at 15,000 tons.
Total imports of coking coal through Mundra Port in 2013-14 stood at 1,180,022 tons against 1,378,975 tons recorded in the same period of the previous financial year.

During April 2014, the entire material came from Australia at a price range of Rs 8,317 - Rs 9,122 ($138-$150) per ton.
In March 2014, the entire quantity arrived from Australia at a price range of Rs 7,605 - Rs 10,056 ($123-$162) per ton.
