May 6: Washery grade coking coal (W3 and W4) offered on the e-auction platform conducted by coaljunction for Coal India Ltd (CIL) subsidiaries during April 2014 met with good demand as out of 201,650 tons offered, 187,150 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,715/ton.
However, in March 2014, the offering met with good demand as out of 247,450 tons offered, 188,530 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,690/ton.
In February 2014, the offering met with good demand as out of 421,100 tons offered, 366,130 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,936/ton.
