July 9: There was no reprieve from the soft trend prevailing in international coal markets on the continued absence of demand amidst ample supplies, market sources said.
The current trend is likely to persist as buyers expect prices to soften further and they delay their purchases, they said, adding, “most of the Indian buyers are well stocked for monsoon requirements and are only looking at bargain buying.”
