DPL extends NIT closure date to March 14

March 10: Durgapur Projects Limited (DPL), a Government of West Bengal enterprise, has extended the last date for submission of offers from suppliers for procuring 50,000 tons of metallurgical coking coal to March 14.
The company had floated the NIT on February 20 after cancellation of its earlier NIT and the last date for submission of offers was March 3.
The company was looking to procure coking coal on ex-stock and delivery at DPL-site loaded into wagons on domestic sale basis from any place or port in India.
DPL was looking to procure coking coal with ash content of 9.50-10.50%, moisture of 10-12%, VM of 19.0-27.0%, sulphur of 0.6-0.8%, CSN of 5-9 std, phosphorus (ADB) of 0.04% to 0.06%, MMR of 1.05% to 1.36%.
