DPR plans to supply coal to Iran and Turkey

The self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) plans to supply coal to North African and Middle Eastern countries, head of the department for industry development strategy at the DPR’s leader’s office Yevgeny Lavrenov said.

 

"We have standard clients in North African countries, in Iran and Turkey. Plants in these countries were built by the Soviet Union. Coal from Donbass is used in processing chains there. We are talking about power plants and metallurgical plants," TASS cited him as saying.
"I think that we will be able to jointly solve the issue with deliveries in the very near future," Lavrenov added.
