Dalmia Bharat third quarter net profit up marginally

January 30: Dalmia Bharat, a key cement manufacturer, on January 28 reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 0.10 crore for the October-December quarter of 2014-15 against a net loss of Rs 12.39 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

In the first nine months of the current fiscal, the company’s consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs 3.25 crore from Rs 8.42 crore net losses incurred in the same period of the previous fiscal, the company statement added.

During the third quarter of 2014-15, the company’s total income increased 10.90% to Rs 785.24 crore compared to Rs 708.01 crore reported in the same period of the last fiscal.
