Imports of limestone via Gangavaram Port stood at 50,585 tons in December 2015, down 49.79% compared to 100,752 tons imported in November 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first nine months (April-November) of the current fiscal (2015-16), limestone imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 757,434 tons while 502,891 tons had been imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

During December, the entire material came in from the UAE at a unit price of Rs 1,152 ($17) per ton.
During November, the entire material came in from the UAE at a unit price of Rs 1,119 ($17) per ton.
