Imports of limestone through the port of Paradip went down by 30.37% to 222,986 tons in December 2015 against a volume of 320,280 tons reported in November 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

December 2015 imports comprised 222,405 tons from the UAE in a range of Rs 745 –1,257 ($11-19) per ton, and the balance 581 tons came from Oman at Rs 1,564 ($23) per ton.
In November 2015, imports comprised 307,266 tons from the UAE in a range of Rs 773 –1,476 ($12-22) per ton, 10,000 tons from Oman at a unit price of Rs 1,240 ($19) while the balance 3,014 tons came from Vietnam at a price range of Rs 7005- Rs 7,425/ton ($107-112).
