ER’s Malda division posts sharp growth in June

July 21: Eastern Railways’ Malda division has reported remarkable growth in passenger and goods earnings during the month of June, 2014, according to a statement by IR.

In the passenger segment, the division earned Rs 25.37 crore in June 2014 which is 16.27% more than that earned in the corresponding month of last year, at Rs 21.62 crore.

On the goods front, the division earned Rs 28.78 crore in June 2014 which is 4.30% more than Rs 27.59 crore earned during the corresponding month of last year.
