September 8: Both freight loading and goods revenue of Eastern Railways increased during the month of August on a year-on-year basis, the company said in a statement.
According to a statement of Eastern Railway, the quantum jump in both freight loading and earning in the current year is due to loading of coal rakes for long destinations.
