Eastern Railways’ revenues up 14.13% y-o-y in July

August 12: Total revenues of Eastern Railways during the month of July 2014 increased 14.13% or Rs 77.19 crore to Rs 623.49 core against Rs 546.30 crore earned in the same month of 2013, said a company statement.

Of the total revenues, Eastern Railways’ earning from the goods segment during the month under review increased 14.95% to Rs 403.26 crore from that of the same month in 2013.

On the passenger front, Railways’ earning increased 21.31% to 194.35 crore compared to that in July 2013.
