Essar Steel floats 50,000t imported steam coal tender

Essar Steel India Ltd has floated a global tender to procure 50,000 tons of imported steam coal for delivery by May 10-15, 2016.

The specifications for the material are thus: GCV – 4,200 Kcal/kg, total moisture – 35%, ash content – 8% (max), volatile matter – 22% (min), size – 0-80 mm (min 90%).

The discharge port is Paradip and the discharge rate will be 10,000 tons per day.

The price quotes are to be given separately for FOB and CFR basis.

The last date for offer submission is April 20, 2016.
