November 28: An extension of the previous day's sentiment was witnessed on November 27 in international coal markets amidst restricted deals, industry sources said.
While the declining trend in South African standard coal price (6,000 Kcal/kg NAR) was halted, there was a mild firmness in off-spec material (5,500 Kcal/kg NAR) of the same origin.
Australian steam coal and better grades of Indonesian material continued to firm up as loading from the latter country is yet to stabilise, they said.
