FOB Richards Bay Coal swap: prices moved up on the week

API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap for delivery Q3' 2015 rose month over month and week over week.

The Q3 swap was up US$ 1.70 (2.93%) month on month to US$ 59.75 per Mt according to AsiaClear OTC coal swap's reports released on 12 June.

API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal for (average) Q4' 2015 delivery swap also increased week over week and month over month.

According to this past week’s SGX data, the average Q4 swap gains $ 1.16 (2.04%) per MT week over week and US$ 1.26 per MT month on month during 8 - 12 June 2015. FOB Richards Bay coal swap Q4’ 2015 delivery closed at US$ 58.13 per MT on 12 June 2015, the data from SGX shows.

Q1' 2016 delivery swap was also followed Q3 and Q4 2015 swaps trend  and increased an average of US$ 1.30  (2.29%) month over month and closed at US$ 57.97 on 12 June 2015 compared to US$ 56.67 closed on 12 May 2015. FOB Richards Bay coal swap, as per SGX's data, Q3, Q4 and Q1’16 delivery swaps rose week over week and month on month.

SGX Asia Clear OTC FOB Richards Bay coal Q1' 2016 delivery swap was closed US$ 1.62 (2.71%) per MT lower compared to average Q3' 2015 delivery price of US$ 59.75 per MT on 12 June 2015. While, the coal swap for Q4' 2015 delivery, closed average US$ 1.78 (2.98%) per MT higher than swap of Q1' 2016 delivery for the same reported period.

The API4 FOB Richards Bay Coal swap for Q3' 2015 delivery has achieved a highest price of average US$ 59.75 / MT on 12 June 2015 and has entered its lowest level (US$ 58.47 / MT) on 9 June 2015.
