Met coke imports through Chennai Port in March 2016 were at 50 tons while in February 2016 these were at 84 tons, dropping 40.47% month-on-month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
Total imports of the material in 2015-16 stood at 1,261 tons against 133 tons recorded in the previous fiscal, rising a huge 848% year-on-year albeit on a very low base.
