FY16 pet coke imports via New Mangalore drop 20%

Imports of pet coke via New Mangalore Port were down 20.08% to 485,622 tons in fiscal 2015-16 against 607,644 tons in 2014-15, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
On the other hand, while there were no imports of the material via the port in March 2016, a quantity of 46,212 tons was imported in February 2016.

In February 2016, out of the entire amount, 26,212 tons came from Saudi Arabia at a price of Rs 2,717 ($39) per ton and 20,000 tons from the US at Rs 3,055 ($44) per ton.
