November 28: Fair demand was witnessed in October 2014 for G-10 grade (GCV 4,301 to 4,600 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL and NCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as out an offered quantity of 204,410 tons, 199,870 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,741 per ton.
However, moderate demand was witnessed in September 2014 for this grade offered by CCL as only 26,920 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 34,820 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 2,412 per ton.
On the other hand, fair demand was witnessed in August 2014 for this grade offered by CCL and NCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as 153,360 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 163,410 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 2,470 per ton.
