Fair demand was witnessed in July 2016 for G12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 1,579,830 tons, 527,308 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,103 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Meanwhile, good demand was witnessed in June 2016 for G12 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 1,130,000 tons, 522,610 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,134 per ton.
