July 7: There was fair demand for G5 grade coal (GCV range 5,800 to 6,100 Kcal/kg) at the e-auction platform of coaljunction in June 2014 as out of 46,650 tons offered, 42,020 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,597/ton.
However, there was moderate demand for G5 grade coal at the e-auction platform of coaljunction in May 2014 as out of 327,250 tons offered, 231,600 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,613/ton.
However, there was fair demand for G5 grade at the e-auction platform of coaljunction in April 2014 as out of 173,050 tons offered, 157,862 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,225/ton.
