Fair demand was witnessed for G6 grade (GCV 5,501 to 5,800 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment by CIL in February 2016 via the e-auctions conducted on the MSTC platform as out of the entire offered quantity of 199,720 tons, 65,160 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,099 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Good demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal offered for allotment by CIL in January 2016 via the e-auctions conducted on MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 152,220 tons, 62,882 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,169 per ton.
However, very strong demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal offered for allotment by CIL in December 2015 via MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 67,570 tons, 51,970 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,096 per ton.
