March 6: G7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with fair demand at the coaljunction platform in February as out of the offered quantity of 83,350 tons, 76,260 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,902/ton.
However, in January, out of the offered quantity of 299,750 tons, 281,220 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,466/ton.
In December 2013, out of the offered quantity of 154,200 tons, 117,570 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,518/ton.
