Fair demand was witnessed for G8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries in February 2016 as out of the offered quantity of 330,340 tons, 117,750 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,416 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
On the other hand, strong demand was witnessed for G8 grade coal offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries in January 2016 as out of the offered quantity of 334,630 tons, 189,210 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,271 per ton.
However, good demand was witnessed for G8 grade offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries in December 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 295,310 tons, 122,800 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,216 per ton.
