November 23: Fair demand was witnessed for G8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries in October 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 354,440 tons, 187,920 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,253 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed for G8 grade coal offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries in September 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 300,000 tons, 139,940 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,142 per ton.
Meanwhile, good demand was witnessed for G8 grade offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries in August 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 163,040 tons, 150,340 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,081 per ton.
