May 6: There was moderate demand for offerings from Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) through e-auction in April 2015 on the coaljunction platform.
The company had offered a total of 610,000 tons of coal in April 2015 for sale through coaljunction, out of which the allotted quantity was 221,952 tons.
There was no offer of coal for sale through e-auction from SCCL in February and March 2015 on the coaljunction platform.
The company had offered a total of 747,500 tons through e-auction in January 2015 for sale through coaljunction, as compared to 594,000 tons in December, 2014
The allotted quantity in January rose to 328,395 tons as compared to 280,468 tons in December, according to the data.
The total offered and allocated quantities by SCCL on coaljunction’s platform in 2014-15 stood at 3.02 mt and 1.91 mt as compared to 1.93 mt and 1.58 mt respectively in 2013-14
