November 4: Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL), after reducing the offerings in August and July, once again cut the offered quantity in October after having increased the same a bit in September, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The miner offered a total of 185,000 tons through e-auction in October for sale through coaljunction, as compared to a higher quantity of 367,000 tons in September.
The allotted quantity in October fell to 113,615 tons as compared to 274,623 tons in September, according to the data.
In October all the grades offered from SCCL on the coaljunction platform witnessed strong demand as the entire quantities got allotted except G-9 grade as out of 79,000 tons of this grade offered, 27,615 tons got allotted during the month at a weighted average price of Rs 2,805 per ton.
