March 6: G10 grade coal (GCV range 4,301 and 4,600 Kcal/kg) offered through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during February saw good demand as 225,000 tons out of an offered quantity of 325,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,082/ton.
However, G10 grade coal offered during January saw moderate demand as 530,458 tons out of an offered quantity of 592,178 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,017/ton.
In December, G10 grade coal offered saw poor demand as only 54,370 tons out of an offered quantity of 203,400 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,732/ton.
