Pet coke imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 133,745 tons in February 2016, rising more than 38 times against 3,500 tons in January 2016, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
For the first 11 months (April- February) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 532,128 tons against 380,754 tons imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).
However, there were no imports of pet coke via the port in February 2015.

In February 2016, out of the entire quantity of 133,745 tons, 8,500 tons came from Indonesia at a unit price of Rs 12,516 ($183) per ton, 54,473 tons from Saudi Arabia at a price range of Rs 2,713-Rs 2,713 ($40-$40) per ton and 70,772 tons from the US at a price range of Rs7,001 –Rs 7,001 ($102-$102) per ton.
In January 2016, the entire quantity of 3,500 tons came from Kuwait at a unit price of Rs 14,110 ($210) per ton.
