Feb pet coke imports via Paradip Port spurt 113% m-o-m

March 26: Pet coke imports through the port of Paradip rose by over 113% to 26,948 tons in February 2014 against 12,631 tons recorded in January 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In February, 15,450 tons arrived from China at a unit price of Rs 11,413 ($181) and 11,498 tons from Kuwait at Rs 13,934 ($221) per ton.

However, in January, the entire consignment arrived from Indonesia at a unit price of Rs 15,763 ($253).
