Feb spot allotment via other platform falls 56% m-o-m

The total offering of coal through spot auction conducted by CIL subsidiaries during February 2016 on the MSTC platform stood at 4.78 million tons (mt), down 40.32% compared to 8.01 mt offered in January 2016, as per data available with ICMW.

       
There were no offerings in February 2016 under forward e-auction on this platform.

Out of the offered quantity through spot e-auction in February 2016, 1.98 mt was allotted, down 56.48% month-on-month from 4.55 mt allotted in January 2016.
