March 28: Spot prices of steam coal firmed up a bid in the international markets on March 27 despite lack of demand and scattered enquiries, industry sources said.
Prices of almost all grades and origins of coal firmed up by $0.10 to $0.50 per ton.
However, 5,500 Kcal (NAR) South African coal prices eased a bit after gains recorded the previous day.
