G-1 grade coal sees good demand at Feb spot e-auction

March 5: Good demand was witnessed for G-1 grade coal (GCV above 7,000 Kcal/Kg) coal offered by NECL of Coal India Limited (CIL) for allotment through the e-auction of coaljunction during February, 2013 as out of 42,500 tons offered, 37,300 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,972 per ton.
During the previous month, no such coal was offered.
