New UserG-11 grade coal sees good demand in April e-auction

May 7: Good demand was witnessed for G-11 grade coal (GCV range 4,001 and 4,300 Kcal/kg) during April as out of 465,000 tons offered by two subsidiaries of CIL, 449,670 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,942/ton.
However, during March, out of 1,030,000 tons offered by three subsidiaries of CIL, 1,020,350 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,661/ton.
In February, out of 1,230,000 tons offered by two subsidiaries of CIL, 903,350 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,583/ton.
