New UserG-11 grade coal sees good demand in March e-auction

April 3: Good demand was witnessed for G-11 grade coal (GCV range 4,001 and 4,300 Kcal/kg) during March as out of 1,030,000 tons offered by three subsidiaries of CIL, 1,020,350 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,661/ton.
However, during February, out of 1,230,000 tons offered by two subsidiaries of CIL, 903,350 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,583/ton.
In January, out of 515,500 tons offered by two subsidiaries of CIL, 505,480 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,826/ton.
