G-12, G-13 grades not offered in August e-auction

September 26: G-12 and G-13 grades of coal were not offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during the month of August 2014.

However, strong demand was witnessed in July 2014 for G-12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by SECL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the entire offered quantity of 30,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,438 per ton.

G-13 grade, on the other hand, was also not offered during July.
