New UserG-12 grade coal sees very strong demand in Apr e-auction

May 28: Very strong demand was witnessed for G-12 (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/Kg) grade coal offered by two subsidiaries of CIL for allotment via the MSTC platform during April 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 1,175,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,561 per ton.
However, good demand was witnessed for G-12 (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/Kg) grade coal offered by two subsidiaries of CIL for allotment via the MSTC platform during March 2014 as 1,022,000 tons out of 1,048,500 tons got allotted.
During February, no such coal was offered for allotment.
