New UserG-13 grade coal sees good demand in Nov e-auction

December 4: Good demand was witnessed for G13 (GCV between 3,400 and 3,700 Kcal/kg) grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during November 2013 as 340,000 tons of the offered quantity of 341,269 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,280/ton.
However, this grade was not offered in October.
On the other hand, in September, there was very strong demand for G13 grade coal as the entire offered quantity of 260,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price stood at Rs 1,553/ton.
