January 3: Very strong demand was witnessed for G13 (GCV between 3,400 and 3,700 Kcal/kg) grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during December 2013 as the entire offered quantity of 280,000 tons got allotted during the month. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,567/ton.
In November 2013, good demand was witnessed for G13 (GCV between 3,400 and 3,700 Kcal/kg) grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform as 340,000 tons of the offered quantity of 341,269 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,280/ton.
However, this grade was not offered in October.
